Fern
|
This fern is called Pneumatopteris pennigera, or pakau-roharoha, in maori,
and it is found in my garden. The green colour is niobium, a reactive metal which is a
sister metal to titanium. The colour can be varied according to choice.

This design can also be supplied as a brooch (shown left), with no
crochet. In this image the brooch is superimposed on the fern.
|
|
The crochet is made from very fine pure silver wire and
the necklace is fastened with two solid silver buttons at the back.
