Clematis This necklace uses the flowers of the Clematis paniculata ('Puawananga' in maori), which flowers right outside my workshop door in spring. The crochet is made from very fine pure silver wire and the necklace is fastened with two solid silver buttons at the back. The picture at left shows the photo I took which resulted in the clematis design above. The coloured metal is niobium, a reactive metal which is a sister metal to titanium, and the colour can be varied according to choice.
