This hairpiece was recently commissioned
by a woman who admired my necklaces and
wanted me to do something similar for
her wedding hairpiece. It's an adaptation
of the coloured leaves and crochet silver
that I use in my other jewellery.
The leaves are pale-coloured niobium fixed
to a silver brooch which is attached through
the crochet shape to a French hairclip.

I made a sterling silver structure to support
them in this new form.
The final design was the result of
collaboration between us, using pencil
drawings and progress photos.
